Subtle and sometimes surprising humor is often blended with form and technique adding another layer of dimension to the work. Richard has shown pieces that incorporate the human form into the lines of the car.

He has also worked with Keith Collins providing designs for their exotic automotive tapestries. Other recent projects include, graphic design, illustration, as well as exhibit and stage design. And for the past three years, he was commissioned to create the unique Car of The Year Awards for Automobile Magazine. He has developed a line of automobile jewelry with noted designer, Maria de la Luz of Pasadena, featuring such exotic cars as Ferrari, Mercedes and Viper.
